Being an expat on Christmas provides the opportunity to make new traditions and spend time with good friends. This Christmas Eve we spent the night at our friends' home, waking to an amazing breakfast feast in preparation for our trip to Sandringham to see the Royal Family (more on this in the next post).

CHRISTMAS DINNER
After going to Sandringham, we returned home to take a 4 mile walk in the English Countryside and enjoy a Christmas feast including ham, turkey, brussels sprouts (of course!), green bean casserole, stuffing & gravy. We ended the meal with cookies, apple and pumpkin pies, and birthday cake for Laura.
